more about your own talents and Top Five Strengths. You will also receive the tools
an effective professional needs to help others appreciate and apply their strengths.
The workshop provides a great opportunity to take the brief Gallup StrengthsFinder
inventory and use the personal assessment results to begin focusing on what people
do right - leading to increased engagement, hope, self-efficacy, academic performance,
well being, and success.
This workshop introduces participants to an understanding of the psychology and principles
of strengths-based development. They will explore their talents - their unique and
recurring patterns of thought, feeling, and behaviour - and learn how they contribute
to their everyday work practices and interactions in their given professional role
They will develop strategies to implement a strengths-based approach in working toward
maximizing individual talents to create the greatest potential for individual achievement
for those they serve and work with each day.

- Introduces participants to their top five strengths through the (Gallup, Inc.) StrengthsFinder
inventory
- Developing Strengths-Based Leadership skills – becoming a more effective leader by
doing what you do best
- Working more effectively in Strengths-Based Teams – maximizing the talent of each
team member

Resources and StrengthsFinder Inventory assessment reports, Individual Bound 60 page
Participant Workbook and training materials are all included with the Workshop registration

Workshop Presenter - Dr Jim Johnson
Dr. Johnson is a fully certified Gallup trainer and Coach and has served as one of
Gallup's Top 20 National Educational Advisors with the Gallup Education Practice.
He is also certified as a Gallup Strengths Educator and Advocate working with educational
initiatives in colleges and universities. His training and consulting with faith
organizations focuses on engagement, spiritual commitment, and increasing the effectiveness
of church leaders in ministry and discipleship. His work with leaders and teams
in the business and educational world centres on Executive Coaching, Engagement,
and Leadership Development helping leaders strive towards Being a Difference not
